1. RDM
You may only attack or kill a player when one of the reasons in this section applies. Anything else is RDM.
1a. Always valid targets
These players can be engaged on sight. No initiation needed.
| Target | How to spot them | Who can engage |
|---|---|---|
| Red name (5 stars) | Red name | Everyone except EMS |
| Most Wanted (6 stars) | Dark red name and blip. Only one player has this at a time: whoever holds the highest bounty. | Everyone except EMS |
| Hit target, under 450,000 | Hit amount shown behind their name and on the scoreboard. No map blip, so you have to spot them yourself. | Everyone not working as a cop, EMS, or tow driver |
| Hit target, 450,000 or more | Same as above, plus a bright blue name and blip the whole server can track | Everyone not working as a cop, EMS, or tow driver |
| Anyone in a redzone or active airdrop zone | Marked on the map | Anyone else inside the zone. If they leave, you can't chase them out to kill them unless you have another reason. |
| Anyone inside an active robbery | Store, bank, jewelry heist, or any other robbery in progress | Everyone, whether or not police show up. People nearby but outside the location are not targets unless they walk in. |
Most Wanted or have a hit on you? You have normal self-defense rights, and you may also shoot first at anyone visibly coming at you with clear hostile intent. Someone who is just nearby is not a valid target.
Don't want a fight? Keep your distance from dark red names and blips.
Placing a hit needs a valid reason, such as initiation or revenge. A hit placed without one counts as RDM, no matter who carries it out.
1b. Initiation
A player initiates on you when they:
- Aim or shoot a weapon at you
- Ram your vehicle on purpose
- Steals your vehicle
- Threaten to kill you
- Insult you or your crew in voice or text chat (clip it so you're covered if it gets reported)
- Come within assault rifle range of you with clear hostile intent. This does not count if you moved into their range.
- Work against you
- Keep following you around without a valid reason
- Start towing your vehicle (tow drivers)
Once someone initiates, you may fight back. If they are clearly with other players, for example in the same car or grouped up, you may engage those players too.
Three special cases:
- Riding with the Most Wanted. Anyone in the Most Wanted player's vehicle can be shot at, whatever their own wanted level. Cops and EMS still can't engage you for this alone unless you have 5+ stars or are shooting at them.
- Drug zones. If someone tells you to leave a drug zone and you stay, that counts as initiation and they may engage you. This only applies at drug zones.
- Obliterating Obliterating someone does not require revenge or initiation and will not be treated as RDM.
Initiation ends when the initiator dies, you kill them, or you both clearly agree the fight is over. After that you need a new reason to engage them.
1c. Revenge
If a player attacks you, kills you, arrests you, or takes your property, you may kill them once, as long as the revenge icon is showing. Failed attempts count too.
- If they attack you again, you get revenge again.
- If you kill each other at the same moment, you both still have revenge.
- A tow driver starting to tow your vehicle counts as taking your property.
1d. Attacking EMS
EMS are neutral. As a civilian or criminal, you may only attack a paramedic who is:
- Reviving or healing your enemy
- Staying close enough to your enemies to revive or heal them
- Moving within assault rifle range while enemies nearby could be revived
You may intimidate EMS into not reviving your enemies. You may not take EMS hostage to make them work for you, kill them just because they revived your friend, or attack them at random.
1e. Fighting police
When you can fight cops is covered on the Criminal Rules page, and what cops may do is on the Police Rules page. The key points:
- With 0 stars, you may only attack a cop if you have revenge on them, or they are trying to arrest or kill a member of your crew.
- If you're wanted or have a bounty, a cop showing up on your minimap counts as initiation. You may open fire.
- Shooting at or toward a cop is initiation too. That cop may shoot back.
1f. What counts as RDM
- Shooting a player who has no bounty or hit, hasn't initiated, and isn't in a redzone, airdrop zone, or active robbery
- Killing someone because they looked at you or drove near you
- Killing someone after your reason ran out: the fight ended, they left the redzone, or the robbery is over
- Shooting a player or their vehicle (tires included) just because police are chasing them
- Placing a hit without a valid reason
2. Teaming
Don't work with or help the other side. The sides are criminals, cops, EMS, and tow drivers. Cop teaming rules are on the Police Rules page, and EMS rules are in Rule 3.
As a civilian or criminal, you may not:
- Team up with or help cops or EMS
- Join their fights, unless you have your own valid reason to engage their target
- Drive them away from their enemies
- Ride with a cop while they are doing police work, or while you are committing crimes
Tow drivers are neutral civilians. Normal civilian rules apply to them, with no extra teaming restrictions. They can't be attacked unless they initiate or start towing your vehicle.
3. EMS
Paramedics are neutral. Your job is medical aid, not fighting.
3a. Staying neutral
- Only help suspects through the scripted revive and heal mechanics
- Don't become a private medic for any gang or player
- Don't help suspects in fights, unless another rule allows it
- Don't drive suspects away from enemies or police
- If you are transporting a suspect and police or enemies arrive, stop and let it play out
3b. Use of force
EMS may only use lethal force to:
- Defend yourself
- Defend another paramedic
- Stop criminals who are an immediate threat while you revive or heal
Retreat whenever you reasonably can, and stop shooting as soon as the threat is over.
Red name and Most Wanted players are not targets for EMS. You may not kill a player just because of their wanted level.
3c. Other restrictions
- Don't carjack innocent civilians, cops, or other paramedics
- Don't damage unattended player vehicles on purpose
4. Cheating and mods
No cheats or advantage mods. You will be banned and your progress may be reset.
The simple test: if it isn't meant to be used and gives you more than a visual benefit over other players, it's not allowed, unless it's on the allowed list below.
4a. Not allowed
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Cheat tools | Mod menus, wallhacks, noclip, health lock, damage modifiers, recoil scripts, rapid fire, triggerbots, softaim, any aim assistance |
| World and visual mods | Ragdoll changes, removing objects, foliage, props, water, electrical cabinets or phone booths, removing collision |
| Texture mods | Anything that makes camo, ghillie suits, or hiding players easier to see |
| HUD and minimap mods | Bigger radar range, player blips beyond the normal range |
| Weapon mods | RPF mods that change how weapons behave in any way |
| Vehicle and physics cheats | Teleports, infinite handbrake or traction glitches used to cheese chases |
| Network abuse | Lag switching, VPN lag, or any other network manipulation |
| Outfits | Invisible or texture-abused clothing, or anything that hides your hitbox or body parts |
| Playing with cheaters | Knowingly playing alongside a cheater without leaving or reporting them |
4b. Allowed
| Mod | Condition |
|---|---|
| Graphics packs, Reshade, FOV changes | As long as nothing gets removed (objects, water, and so on) |
| Sound packs | Always fine |
| Skydomes and tracers | Always fine |
| Weather mods | As long as they give no unfair advantage |
| No shadows | Allowed. It only helps FPS. |
| Static crosshair overlay | Only a plain overlay. If it reads game memory, automates input, or does anything more, it's not allowed unless staff confirm it is. |
| Simple macros | Only for sending text, commands, or hotkeys |
| Anything else with no advantage | Allowed |
Staff decide on anything not listed. If staff rule a mod not allowed, you can be banned for it even if it isn't listed here.
5. Exploits and bugs
Don't abuse bugs, glitches, script errors, or unintended mechanics of LSCnR or GTA V. You will be banned and your progress may be reset.
5a. Examples
- Killing players on the revive screen, still loading in, or otherwise unable to control their character
- Forcing a wanted level onto another player unfairly
- Misspelling banned words to get past the chat filter
- Money, XP, or item duplication
- Emoting mid-fight to dodge damage or clip through things (see 5b)
- Ghost peeking (see 5c)
This list is not complete. Staff decide case by case.
5b. Emotes
No emotes during a fight or active chase. No exceptions. No emotes during events either, unless staff allow it for that event.
5c. Ghost peeking
Don't use walls or cover so your bullets pass through solid surfaces the engine shouldn't let them through.
Vehicles are different. Some cars let a player shoot out of a window that bullets can't come in through. That's a known GTA V quirk, not ghost peeking, and reports about it will be denied. Flank, reposition, shoot the tires, or force them out of the car.
5d. Reporting bugs
Found a bug? Get proof and report it in a private support ticket. Reporting a bug will never get you punished. Hiding one will.
These all count as hiding a bug:
- Quietly farming it, for example a money or item duplication bug
- Sharing it with friends so your group can use it before staff find out
- Encouraging others to abuse it
- Continuing to use a known exploit instead of reporting it
Hiding a bug means a ban and a full account reset. Anything you gained while hiding it will be wiped.
6. Self-killing and kill feeding
6a. Self-killing
Killing your own character is allowed, at any time, including during a chase, firefight, or arrest.
This includes explosions, blowing up your own vehicle while standing next to it, driving into hazards, drowning, drug overdoses, and any other legit game or server mechanic that can kill you.
6b. Kill feeding
Letting another player kill you on purpose to manipulate bounties, pad stats, or avoid a consequence is not allowed. Obvious patterns will be punished, even if each case is claimed to be an accident.
Easy way to remember it: killing yourself is fine. Letting someone else kill you on purpose is not.
7. Crews
Crews are treated as a group for initiation, accountability, and crew wars. Being in a crew doesn't exempt you from any rule or give you extra rights beyond what's listed here.
7a. Shared initiation
If one crew member has valid initiation on a player, the whole crew may retaliate against that player under the normal initiation rules.
Revenge is still one kill. Respect the revenge icon. Once revenge has been used, other crew members can't keep killing that player for the same reason. They need a new valid reason or new initiation.
7b. Crew wars
Every crew war must be arranged with staff and approved by management. Crews can't declare or run their own unofficial war. Staff and management may set extra conditions, such as who takes part, how long it lasts, where it happens, and other rules.
7c. Crew accountability
Crew members are responsible for the conduct of their crew. If a member keeps behaving badly, management may fine or penalize the whole crew. This is for ongoing patterns, not every single mistake by one member.
7d. Crew members playing as cops
On duty, your crew means nothing. See Police Rules.
8. Safe zones
Safe zones such as hospitals and spawns are no-combat areas. They show on the map as large green circles, and you'll see an on-screen indicator when you're inside one. No indicator means no protection.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| 10 second delay | Protection starts 10 seconds after you enter. Running in mid-fight doesn't save you, and the other player can keep fighting you during that window. |
| Wanted and hit players aren't protected | Cops can still engage and arrest wanted players inside, and hit targets can still be engaged inside. |
| No fighting | Don't attack or kill players inside. |
| No baiting | Don't provoke players to drag them out into a fight. |
| No camping | Don't camp safe zones to farm easy kills. |
Using a safe zone to escape a fight you started or were losing may be treated as exploiting.
9. Staff, accounts, and reports
9a. Ban evasion
Serve your full ban. Don't bypass it in any way, and don't play on any other account while one is banned. If you do, your ban is doubled.
Don't sell, trade, or share accounts to get around bans or in ways that hurt server security. You are responsible for everything done on your account.
9b. Lying to staff
Don't knowingly lie to staff when reporting a player, appealing a punishment, or claiming a prize, refund, or compensation. This applies anywhere staff are involved, not just in tickets. Proven lies mean a ban.
9c. Impersonating staff
Pretending to be staff is an instant ban. That includes:
- Claiming you are or used to be staff
- Claiming you can ban or punish players
- Threatening to ban or punish someone yourself
- Wearing staff clothing, driving staff vehicles, or otherwise posing as staff
- Using staff permissions you're not currently authorized to use
9d. Begging
| If you ask staff for | You get |
|---|---|
| A staff position | Blacklisted from ever becoming staff |
| Money, items, VIP, unbans, or other favors | Mute or temporary suspension |
Refund or compensation requests for a real bug or server issue are not begging. Use the normal ticket process.
9e. Reports
Include a clip or screenshots with enough context for staff to see what happened and when. Reports without evidence may not be actionable, and false or malicious reports can be punished.
Don't abuse the report system. That means no:
- Reporting someone to pressure staff after you lost a fight
- Mass-reporting someone over a personal dispute
- Refiling a complaint staff already answered
- Flooding tickets with reports that have no evidence
Reports about clearly valid kills under Rule 1 will be denied. Repeat offenders get blacklisted from reports and may be banned.
9f. Staff decisions
Staff decisions, punishments, and investigations are not public discussion topics. This covers bans, warnings, mutes, kicks, report outcomes, investigations, and appeals, whether they're about you or someone else.
Don't:
- Discuss another player's punishment in game, on Discord, or in other community channels
- Argue in public about whether a punishment was deserved
- Use public pressure to influence staff
- Get others to take sides
- Keep bringing up decisions that are already settled
Also don't disrespect staff who are moderating respectfully, or spam them with bad-faith debates.
Disagree with a decision? Use an appeal or ticket. Think a staff member abused their power? Open a Staff Report ticket on Discord with evidence and a clear timeline.
If you keep discussing a staff decision after being told to stop, you may be punished further.
10. Community conduct
10a. Serious offenses
Never allowed, under any circumstances:
- Threatening real-life violence or sexual assault
- Doxxing: sharing someone's name, address, phone number, or other identifying info
- Threatening or carrying out DDoS attacks or account hacking
- Wishing death, serious illness, injury, or violence on a player or their family
Threats that could be real may be reported to the relevant authorities.
10b. General conduct
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| No hate speech | No slurs or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability. |
| No harassment | Banter is fine. Targeted harassment, relentless insults, stalking someone across sessions, or baiting players into breaking rules is not. If you get baited into breaking a rule, the rule break is still on you. |
| No sexual harassment | Not in text, voice, or radio. If you don't know someone's age, assume they're a minor. |
| No inappropriate content | No gore, nudity, porn, or explicit sexual material. Avoid in-depth public talk about real-life violence, suicide, self-harm, child abuse, terrorism, or illegal hacking, and never talk about them positively. |
| No voice chat abuse | No earrape, soundboard or meme spam, or voice changers used mainly to harass or grief. |
| No scamming | If you agree to a trade, finish it or give back what you got. Staff can't guarantee you'll get scammed items back. |
| No real money trading | Don't buy or sell in-game items or money for real money, crypto, or anything with real-world value. In-game currency for in-game items only. |
| No meta gaming | Don't use info from outside the game, like Discord, streams, or calls, to get an advantage over players who don't have that info. That includes stream sniping: using someone's stream to find, follow, or get an edge on them. Streaming is welcome, but at your own risk. We recommend a stream delay. |
| No offensive names | Player names, crew names, and license plates follow the same rules as chat. No slurs, hate speech, sexual content, or anything that impersonates staff. Staff can make you change a name that breaks this. |
| No advertising | Don't advertise other servers, communities, products, or services without permission. |
| English only | In text and voice chat, so staff can moderate fairly. |
10c. Persistent negative behavior
Some players never break one big rule but keep making the server worse for everyone around them. That counts too.
| Behavior | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| Chat spam | Flooding global or local chat and not stopping when asked |
| Ongoing harassment | Picking on the same player in small ways that add up |
| Constant drama | Stirring up conflict between players, staff, or communities every session |
| Draining behavior | Always being the reason a tense ticket exists, even when no single moment crosses a line |
If your presence keeps making the server worse, staff may remove you permanently, even if no single incident broke a hard rule. This is about a pattern, not one bad day. Staff look at your history, ticket volume, and how other players react to you.
10d. Minimum age
You must be 18 or older to play. Players under 18 may only stay if staff have explicitly agreed they've shown clear maturity, and that can be taken back at any time. Lying about your age or trying to get around this rule can be punished.
