Trucking
Buy a truck, take jobs from the Trucking Center, and haul cargo around the map. Longer routes and better trucks unlock as you rank up. Pay hits your bank when you turn the job in at the depot — not at each stop.
How to start
- Buy your first truck at Dock Tees Truck Sales. Start with a Minivan.
- Store it in your Truck Depot (same dealership flow).
- Go to the Trucking Center at the docks, press E, and pick a route you're allowed to run.
- Take the truck from the depot, load if the job asks for it, and follow GPS.
The truck has to be yours and in the depot. A random van off the street won't start a route.
The run
Most jobs are several stops. Local packages: park, grab boxes from the trunk, walk them to the door. Bigger hauls: drive to the pin and drop.
There's a clock. Faster legs can put time back on it. Blow the timer and you go back to the Trucking Center with nothing for that route.
When the last stop is done, return to the Trucking Center to get paid. Money from the run sits until you turn in.
Cargo damage is real. Crashes and scrapes ding the load even if you repair the truck afterward. Wrecked cargo means a smaller check.
Fuel burns on the road. If you pull a truck out of the depot nearly empty, expect to pay for a fill.
Leveling
Trucking goes to level 40. Each level bumps pay a little and can unlock bigger trucks and harder jobs.
You also get skill points to spend in trees (highway pay, fuel, handling, fragile cargo, and so on). You don't need a perfect tree to start — just haul.
A few rank gates worth knowing:
- Level 10 — ADR certification (hazardous loads).
- Level 20 — special cargo routes.
- Higher ranks — heavier trucks and the expensive jobs.
Weekly challenges exist. They pay trucking XP, not extra cash.
Rough pay
Pay scales with the job, distance, your level, and how clean the cargo is. You get at least a few thousand even on a short one. Starter Local Package runs are the small end. Highway, hazmat, and late-game specialist jobs are the big end.
| Early local / commercial | Thousands to low tens of thousands per route, depending on stops |
| Mid-level freight | Tens of thousands |
| Late highway / specialist | Can climb a lot higher if you keep the cargo intact |
| Turn-in | Paid to bank at the Trucking Center |
Don't expect the wiki number to match the receipt. Damage, time, and skills all move it.

Buy these at Dock Tees once you hit the level. Stock rotates about every 48 hours, so the one you want might not be on the lot today.

Benny's can upgrade a truck you own for more speed. Take it there when you want it quicker, not because the job requires it.
Tips
- Drive like the cargo is watching. It is.
- Match the truck to the job. The menu won't let you start a haul you don't have a legal truck for.
- Turn in at the depot. Leaving the last drop doesn't pay you.
- Fuel up. Running dry mid-route is a wasted clock.
- Spend skill points when you have them, but don't wait on a “perfect” build to take jobs.
