Civilian
Everyone starts here. No badge, no uniform, no duty paycheck. You can run legal jobs, do crime, or both.
This is the default job: None / Freelancer. Clock out of Police, FIB, or Tow and you're back here.
What you can do
- Legal work — taxi, pizza, trucking, tacos, mining, fishing, scuba. Steady cash, no stars.
- Crime — stores, houses, drugs, heists, exports. Faster money, cops notice.
- Careers — clock in as Police, FIB, or Tow when you meet the requirements.
You keep a civilian loadout. Duty jobs (Police, FIB) use a separate bag — your street guns stay here when you put the badge on.
Sides
The server treats criminals, cops, EMS, and tow drivers as different sides. See Rule 2. As a civ you may not help cops or EMS in their work unless another rule lets you.
Tow is still a civilian job. Police and FIB are not.
Wanted? You can't clock into Police, FIB, EMS, or Tow until that's cleared. Same if you have a bounty.
Other departments
IAA, Army, EMS, and Fire exist in the game but aren't joinable right now.
