Police
Clock in at a Police Station, pass the exam, and play the cop side. Arrests, fines, dispatch, patrol cars. Your crew does not count while you're on duty.
Needs criminal level 10 and a passed exam. Can't be wanted or have a bounty. There's a slot cap — if too many people are already cops, wait.
On duty you follow the Police Rules. The main Server Rules still apply. Helping suspects or your crew is a ban.
How to join
- Hit level 10.
- Go to any Police Station blip (Mission Row, La Mesa, Davis, Vespucci, Rockford, Vinewood, Del Perro, Sandy, Paleto).
- Talk to the desk cop. If you haven't passed the exam, that's the first step — $25,000 a try, 10 minutes if you fail. Pass once and you're done forever.
- Clock in as Police.
Clock out the same way, or switch to FIB if your Cop Level is high enough.
You can't do crime on this job. Duty guns live in a police bag — civilian inventory stays on civ.
On duty
Blue name and blip. Other cops don't take friendly fire from you.
Y next to a player is the police menu: fine, cuff, search, order them to stop.

Drive a cuffed suspect to a station drop-off (GPS when they're in your car) to book them. Low wanted is usually a ticket; high wanted is jail.
You'll get dispatch for robberies, murders, and similar. Don't camp drug spots waiting for a pinch — respond, then leave.
Patrol cars are at the LSPD Vehicle Depot (Mission Row lot). Buy them on this job; they go in the PD garage.
Pay
A small duty paycheck hits your bank every 15 minutes while you're on. Real money is arrests, fines, and seizures — higher wanted pays more. Searching someone only shows illegal items if they're high enough level.
Combat
Wanted players who see your blip may shoot first. That's on you for showing up — it does not let you open fire first. Police Rules §4.
Aiming a gun at a cop is 5 stars for them. Hits on duty don't give you a kill reason.
Stun for non-threat arrests. Don't farm tires on a runner who hasn't shot and isn't red.
Tips
- Read the exam. It's the Police Rules in quiz form.
- Don't clock in for your crew. You're not in it while the badge is on.
- FIB is the same toolkit with a darker name and a higher Cop Level gate. Same stations.
- No slot? That's the population cap. Play civ until someone clocks out.
