Bounty & Hits
Two different pots.
A bounty is what the wanted system puts on a 5-star player. A hit is a contract you buy on someone. Most Wanted is the bounty leader, not the biggest hit.
Placing a hit needs a valid reason (initiation, revenge, and the rest of Rule 1). The phone will take your money either way. A hit without a reason is RDM on you, not on the person who takes it.
Cops, EMS, and tow may not take hits. Cops don't even see the hit tag. On duty, a hit is not a kill reason for police.
Player hits
How to place one
- Payphone on the street — cheaper broker — or phone → Dark Web.
- Pick the player and a tier. Paid from your bank.
- You're 3 stars when it goes out.
You can place another hit after about 30 minutes. The same target can't be hit again for about an hour (extra contracts stack after that).
What you pay vs what's on their head
The broker keeps a cut. Payphone 15%. Dark Web 25%.
| You pay | On their head (payphone) | On their head (Dark Web) |
|---|---|---|
| $180,000 | About $153k | About $135k |
| $250,000 | About $212k | About $187k |
| $500,000 | About $425k | About $375k |
| $1,000,000 | About $850k | About $750k |
| $2,000,000 | About $1.7M | About $1.5M |
The killer gets the stored amount in their bank. That's the number on the name.
How they look
Any hit shows [HIT …] on the name and scoreboard (not for cops).
$450,000+ on the head → blue name and a blue map blip the whole server can hunt.
A single $500k contract does not reach that after fees. $1M (or stacked hits) does.
Wanted bounty
Crimes and 5 stars fill a bounty (caps around $100,000). It is not a player hit.
Whoever kills them (not a cop) gets that bounty in cash, paid from the police pot.
Bounty decays if they stay out of trouble.
Most Wanted
One player at a time: highest bounty, and they have to be a civilian (or tow) — not a cop.
They show as 6 stars, dark red name and blip. Kill on sight for everyone except EMS. Riding in their car makes you fair game too.
The killer gets a bonus on top of the bounty (about $25,000).
Orbital strike
A payphone can call in an obliterate for $2,500,000 cash and 100 XP. Only people you have revenge on, or 5–6 stars. Shares the hit cooldowns. Also 3 stars for you.
Rules treat obliterate as not RDM. Don't spam it on randoms — the phone won't let you anyway.
Tips
- Payphone if you care about the number on their head. Dark Web is convenience.
- Want the blue blip? Buy $1M+, or stack after the hour.
- Don't hit without a clip. Staff will ask why.
- Hits and bounty can sit on the same person. Two payouts for two pots.
